Sir Bruce Forsyth, of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ fame, is set to headline a show of his own next year at the Royal Albert Hall. Forsyth has made a recent comeback to the world of musical performing after striking a recording deal with EMI.

The show at the Royal Albert Hall is set to take place on May 3. The show will feature the 83-year-old star performing with the National Jazz Youth Orchestra. The show will be just one in a series that he will be performing as part of a nationwide tour.

The star took some time to open up about his recent career moves with Smooth Radio’s Mark Goodier.

“It will be a lot of music,” Forsyth told Goodier. “I love my music.”

The singer also noted that the show will feature swing music, the style of music that was popular as he was growing up. The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ host also said that he had been planning a full tour with the National Jazz Youth Orchestra, but let go of the idea to take up with the television competition series instead.

“I wish there were more people that are entertainers and can sing and dance,” Forsyth added, before gushing about Harry Hill.
