©PRPhotos.comColdplay has announced the release of the music video for their newest song, “Paradise,” the second single to be lifted from their upcoming ‘Mylo Xyloto’ album.
The video was filmed along with legendary director Hype Williams, who also shot the video for the group’s hit song, “Viva La Vida.” The group collectively decided to work with Williams again as they “follow the things” that they “love.”
When speaking of previous video making experiences, lead vocalist Chris Martin said that the group has also worked with friend Mat Whitecross, an independent filmmaker, on “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall.” The group has won numerous awards for their work, including four MTV Video Music Awards.
Coldplay is billed as one of the world’s most successful music recording groups, having sold more than 50 million albums worldwide. They first saw mainstream success with the 2000 album release, ‘Parachutes,’ which featured the song “Yellow.” ‘A Rush of Blood to the Head’ in 2002 took the world by storm, with the popular single, “Clocks.”
2005′s ‘X & Y’ was as equally successful, loaded with a number of popular singles that include “Fix You.” The group’s last album release, ‘Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends,’ came in 2008 with the smash hit “Viva La Vida.”
‘Mylo Xyloto’ is set to drop on Monday, October 24.
