Rock legends Def Leppard and Motley Crue will be coming together for a joint UK tour in December.
Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott has said that he is “thrilled” that the two groups will be coming together.
“I can’t tell you enough how thrilled I am to announce this tour,” Elliott said. “We always strive to make our shows an event.”
The two groups have never toured together and Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx is also excited to be sharing the stage with the “Photograph” singers.
“Motley Crüe is excited to do some destruction with long time peers Def Leppard,” Sixx said. “Hopefully there will be some de-virginizing of each-others fans.”
Supporting the two groups on their tour will be fellow metal legends, Steel Panther.
The tour will kick off at Birmingham’s LG Arena on December 6, followed by a December 8 show at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham. The trio will make a December 9 stop at the SECC in Glasgow, followed by a December 11 show in Manchester. On December 13, the three groups will take the stage at the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield before wrapping up December 14 at London’s Wembley Arena.
Tickets for the Def Leppard – Motley Crue joint tour go on sale Friday, September 2 at 9 a.m.
