Ed Helms is wasting no time capitalizing on his cinematic goodwill from Cedar Rapids. Helms has been announced as the lead for the remake of a French film about a pair of twins, one straight-laced and the other a hardcore gangster. Sounds like it could strike the funny bells quite a few times, no?
Ben Stiller is on board as a producer of the remake of Le Mac. The original followed a mild mannered bank worker who is informed of a twin brother he never knew by police investigators looking into organized crime. Turns out, our bank employee’s twin is the gangster. The cops need his help, sending the title character into an emotional and moral comedic tailspin.
