‘X Factor’ panel judge and Take That front man Gary Barlow has confirmed that he will be performing at two solo shows in December.
On Monday, December 5th and Tuesday, December 6th, Barlow will be taking the front and center at a charity performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Money earned from the performances will be donated to The Prince’s Trust, a charity organization that assists disadvantaged young people.
Eyes were on Barlow this week after Frankie Cocozza, whom he is mentoring for the ‘X Factor’ competition, bombed his performance, with one of the other judges saying that his charge has lost himself. Gary was also accused of attempting to force Frankie into re-living his glory days. Frankie was performing the song “Rocks” by Primal Scream. A short time after the episode of ‘X Factor’ aired, Primal Scream posted a note on their Twitter account that they did not endorse the song being used.
Take That recently completed the UK leg of their ‘Progress Live’ tour and Barlow has indicated that the band is taking a bit of a break. Barlow himself is currently doing his ‘X Factor’ gig and band member Robbie Williams is said to have plans to create a new solo album.
Take That is expected to release a new album sometime in 2012.
Tickets for Gary Barlow’s December 5th and 6th Charity concerts will be available beginning Friday, October 28 at 9 a.m.
