Glasvegas Tickets Announce Tour UK and Ireland

Glasvegas recently confirmed details of their upcoming UK and Ireland tour. The seven-date tour gig kicks off on October 22 at Savoy in Cork, followed by stops in London, Brighton, Sheffield, Manchester, York, and a date at the 02 ABC on Halloween.

Glasvegas released their self-titled debut album in 2008, which reached the No. 2 spot on the UK Album Charts and was nominated for the coveted Mercury Prize. In December 2010, the band line-up changed for a third time, welcoming the group’s third drummer, Jonna Lofgren. Their third album, ‘Euphoric Heartbreak,’ was released in April.

Glasvegas has continued to reach for mainstream success outside of the UK and have worked as a supporting act for popular bands such as U2 and Kings of Leon. They have performed on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman,’ and have also performed at numerous music festivals in both the US and the UK. In their songwriting and production endeavors, they have collaborated with famed producers such as Flood.

The band also confirmed that the October set will be the last of the group’s live shows and appearances in the near future, as they have plans to return to the studio to begin working on their next album shortly after wrapping up the tour.

Tickets for the October Glasvegas tour are now available.
