“Price Tag” singer Jessie J has offered up a bit of support for “Swagger Jagger” singer Cher Lloyd. Lloyd has recently encountered a great deal of online abuse from those who do not like her. Jessie contacted the teen after Lloyd made the claims of alleged abuse, saying that it was affecting her negatively.
Jessie made brief interactions with fans of Lloyd via the girl’s Twitter page, saying “Just wanted to say hello and that I’m not feeling how people are making you feel!”
Cher has been described by The Wanted as a “kiddy version” of Jessie. She took time to respond to Jessie’s Twitter post.
“Thank you!” Lloyd wrote. “Looking forward to meeting you in the near future!”
Lloyd saw her rise to the limelight after her appearance on the television singing competition, ‘The X Factor.’ She had auditioned to appear on the show twice before but was not passed to enter the competition. During her auditions, Lloyd performed ballads. She gave the judges a run for their money, however, during her third audition when she arrived covering a Keri Hilson song.
Lloyd was eventually eliminated from the challenge in what would have been the fourth place.
Lloyd continued to win over the public, however and her debut single, “Swagger Jagger” has hit No. 1.
