Justin Bieber is giving his fans an early Christmas gift this year. As a show of appreciation for his fans, the teen star has released two of the collaborations from his upcoming holiday album, ‘Under the Mistletoe.’
The first collaboration to be released off of the album was an updated version of Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas.” The duet featured the two singing on alternate lines within the first verse and the pair singing together for the second verse. Bieber recently gushed to MTV about the experience of working with the “Honey” singer.
“Mariah Carey is doing it with me. So excited!” he told MTV News, before going on to tell how he was able to land the duet with her.
Bieber explained that Carey is signed to the same label and that through some word of mouth and Randy Jackson, he was able to make the first duet come to life. The song is available on Rap-Up.com.
The second collaboration, “Little Drummer Boy,” was posted to Hitfix.com and features Busta Rhymes. Busta joins in about halfway through the song, throwing down his signature speed and sound. Bieber was excited to be featuring rap within a Christmas song.
“If you really think about it, it’s genius,” the teen said of the song.
‘Under the Mistletoe’ drops on November 1st.
