Pop star Katy Perry has revealed the side of her confident side and the kooky, adventurous aspect of herself, but what about a little tenderness? That is exactly what Perry reveals in a sneak peak preview of her upcoming music video for the song, “The One Who Got Away.”
The starlet admit that her sixth single is showing of a side of her that she has not been keen to reveal to the public. The 36 second video preview reveals Perry with her on-screen love interest, frolicking about in what are revealed by the soft music and powerful lyrics to be little more than memories.
The video kicks off with a voice-over by the singer.
“The past is like a handful of dust. It filters through your fingers, disappearing little by little,” she says.
Perry is certain that the song and music video are both something that can be related to by just about anyone and has expressed her hopes that people are able to learn from the lesson of the song’s moving lyrics.
“It’s a bittersweet story,” the singer said of the song.
Perry is currently on the road to support her latest album, ‘Teenage Dream.’ The music video for “The One Who Got Away” is set to be released on November 11th.
