While it may have appeared that Kelly Rowland stood in the shadows of fellow ‘X Factor’ judges, it has been released now that Rowland really shined during her debut as one of the show’s judges. The name Kelly Rowland began to trend on Twitter and fans began to comment on how much they already enjoy her being on the show.
“Love her!” one Twitter user said Rowland.
“How amazing is Kelly Rowland at this job?” posted another fan on the site.
Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox also had her own bit to say about Rowland’s latest endeavor.
“I am loving Kelly Rowland!” Cox wrote on Twitter.
Cox later went on to refer to the “most eloquent way” that Rowland had used to tactfully remind contestant Kitty Brucknall not to be a show off.
Rowland had been a member of acclaimed girl group Destiny’s Child until the trio disbanded in 2005. Along with bandmates Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams, Rowland helped to set a trend among other female R&B and hip-hop performers. They captured the very essence of women living strong and independent outside of romantic relationships. They are responsible for mega-hit songs such as “Bills, Bills, Bills,” “Independent Women,” and “Bootylicious.”
As a solo recording artist, Rowland is best known for her single “Dilemma, “Stole,” and “When Love Takes Over.”
