Jason Donovan is seeing great success with his current appearances on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ and former flame. pop star Kylie Minogue, is showing nothing but love.
“He’s going to be brilliant, I’m sure,” Kylie told Heart FM. “He’s a performer, so I’m sure he’s doing really well. I can’t wait to catch up with what’s happening.”
Jason and Kylie both played in an Australian soap during the 80s where they portrayed on-screen lovers before actually initiating an off-screen relationship. Together in 1988, they released a hit single about their love, “Especially For You.”
Holly Vance, former star of ‘Neighbours,’ is said to have wooed judges with last Saturday’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ performance. Last week, contestants were asked to learn and perform the Cha-cha-cha. Holly is said to have given the dance her own unique and notable spin. Jason is also said to have left a great impression on the panel judges. He is currently paired with professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff.
Other celebrities competing this season include Alex Jones, Russell Grant, Edwina Curry, and Chelsea Healey.
Jason has celebrated a career as both a screen actor and a stage actor, having appeared in the popular stage show, ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.’ The star went on a brief hiatus in 2006, but returned to the limelight just a year later.
