Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are among the most recently announced artists that will be performing at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast on November 6. Gaga herself is up for several awards.
The show will be hosted by actress and pop star Selena Gomez of ‘Wizards of Waverly Place’ fame. Joining Gomez on stage to present the awards are ‘Jersey Shore’ cast members Snooki and JWoww. Also set to perform are Jessie J., LMFAO, and Coldplay. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are said to be taking the stage as well. Gomez’s own boyfriend, teen pop star Justin Bieber, is also up for a few awards.
Bruno Mars and Katy Perry are tied for a total of four award nominations, including Best Male. Surprisingly, Adele and Justin Bieber have only nabbed three nominations each. Lady Gaga is said to have netted the most nominations with six in total for Best Pop Act, Best Live Act, Best Female, Biggest Fans, Best Song, and Best Video. Other nominees for this years EMAs include My Chemical Romance, Wiz Khalifa, Linkin Park, and Arcade Fire.
The MTV EMAs will first air on November 6. The show will then be re-broadcast the following day on November 7.
