Just days after giving the world a sneak peek at her “Marry The Night” music video, Lady Gaga has unleashed the full music video for the smash hit song.
The singer made the announcement via her Twitter account, noting that the video would debut on E! on Thursday, December 1st. A teaser trailer, referred to as “The Prelude Pathetique,” was previously released online along with some still frame images from the video. The trailer featured a raven haired Gaga lying on a hospital bed while been pushed and wheeled throughout the building by two nurses. As she cruises along, a voice over comments about perceived reality, comparing it to a work of art.
“I really didn’t do anything different on this video,” Lady Gaga said.
The video was a small step forward in the singer’s career, marking her directorial debut. It may have been the first time that she filled the role as director, but Gaga took the time to point out that “Marry The Night” was no different from her earlier hit videos.
“Marry The Night” is the latest single off of Lady Gaga’s stellar album, ‘Born This Way,’ that was released on November 21st. She recently took the stage to perform at the 2011 Grammy Awards nomination party.
