PJ Harvey to Play Royal Albert Hall Gig

PJ Harvey has announced that she will be performing at London’s Royal Albert Hall on October 30.

PJ Harvey has enjoyed a successful career as a group musician and a solo recording artist. She is known for her amazing musical abilities that include being able to play 10 different instruments and for her ever changing style. She has collaborated with other artists such as Nick Cave, John Parish, and Marianne Faithfull. Harvey has been nominated multiple times for the BRIT Award, Grammy Award, and The Mercury Prize. Rolling Stone and Q Magazine have both pointed out Harvey’s contributions to the world of music.

In 2009, Harvey composed an original score for the Broadway show “Hedda Gabler,” but has seldom been recognized for her contribution to the show.

She is currently completing the last leg of a brief European tour that included an appearance at the I’ll Be Your Mirror Festival in London and two stage shows at Sentum Scene in Oslo, Norway.

Harvey has once again been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize for her “Let England Shake” album, which has received great critical acclaim.The Mercury Prize award winner will be announced in September. It is the third time that she has been nominated for the award.
