Radiohead Announces New Remixes

Radiohead

Recording giants Radiohead have announced the making of a new remix EP. The EP will feature songs from their most recent album, “The King of Limbs.”

Songs that will be featured on the EP will include “Give Up the Ghost,” “Little By Little,” and “Codex.” The album is part of a series of remix EPs of previously released Radiohead songs. The remixes have been done by artists such as Thriller Houseghost, Caribou, and Nathan Fake. With the group’s release of their album “In Rainbows,” Radiohead made available for purchase track stems from their song “Reckoner” so that fans and aspiring producers alike could remix the song and upload it for the world to hear. Site users could ten vote on which remix they favored.

Radiohead formed in 1985 and their first single, “Creep,” was released in 1992. The group’s second album, “The Bends,” saw great success around the globe. The songs “High and Dry” and “Fake Plastic Trees” would both become anthems for cover artists, but “The Bends” only peaked at number 88 on the US album charts. The group’s third album, “OK Computer,” was released in 1997 and spawned the hit song “Karma Police.”

“The King of Limbs” is the group’s eighth studio album.
