The song faced fierce competition from Maroon 5′s “Moves Like Jagger” duet with Christina Aguilera, knocking the song down a notch to the No. 2 spot. Also competing for a place in the coveted Top 10 are Sak Noel with “Loca People,” “It Girl” by Jason Derulo, and The GooGoo Dolls with “Iris.” “We Found Love” is not the only song featuring the popular vocalist in the Singles Top 20 this week. “Fly,” her duet with Nicki Minaj is in at No. 16.
October has been a very busy month for the actress, who is currently making rounds with her ‘Loud’ tour. She recently finished filming the music video for “We Found Love,” where she is said to have heated up the set by flirting with her co-star. The video was shot in Belfast where she also put on three separate shows, but had received negative attention after arriving 90 minutes late for the first performance.
