Producer and recording artist Soulja Boy decided to usher in his 21st birthday in style by purchasing a $ 35M jet.
The G5 has been ordered to undergo some custom fittings that will include the installation of some tile and hardwood floors, Brazilian wood cabinets, and multiple bars. The jet is also said to soon be sporting Italian leather seats. The bathrooms are also said to be undergoing a major makeover. According to TMZ, the jet is also said to contain flat screen televisions and will soon feature Soulja Boy’s logo on the side.
Soulja Boy is best known for his hit single, “Crank That (Soulja Boy),” which was released in 2007. The single caught the attention of Interscope Records, with whom he would later cut his record deal. “Crank That” was nominated for te Best Rap Song award at the 50th Grammy Awards, but lost out to a song by fellow recording artist Kanye West. He has followed up with two other studio album releases and a recent mixtape. Soulja Boy saw even more success with his followup singles “Blowing Me Kisses” and “Speakers Going Hammer.”
The popular rap star decided to go even further with ushering in reaching the legal drinking age in America by throwing a $ 300k party. The party will be held at a Miami nightclub and attended by family as well as friends. Guests celebrities said to have been invited to the occasion are Sean Kingston and Bow Wow.
