© www.newsquod.comSusan Boyle has once again made chart music history with the release of her latest album. The album, ‘Someone To Watch Over Me,’ is the superstar’s third album to debut at No. 1 on the music chart, making her the first female to debut a total of three No. 1 albums in just two years.
Boyle lived a simple life before appearing on the televised talent competition, ‘Britain’s Got Talent,’ in April 2009. Audience members almost immediately made their own judgments of Boyle based upon her appearance alone – that is until she began singing the show tune, “I Dreamed a Dream.” Her heavenly voice won her a standing ovation. Boyle came in second place overall behind a dance troupe, but her talent won her a recording contract with Syco Music and later Columbia Records.
“This is fantastic news!” Boyle said, upon learning that she has made music history. “This is just wonderful! Wow!”
Television exec and music producer Simon Cowell has expressed nothing but well wishes and desire for Boyle. Many wondered if the singer would collapse under the initial taste of fame as her erratic went from being coined as “shy” and “simplistic” to “erratic.”
“She’s a total superstar,” Cowell said, before sharing his pride in her achievements.
‘Someone To Watch Over Me’ pushed the latest album by Michael Buble back to the No. 2 spot on the album charts, while throwing Florence and The Machine down to No 3.
